The following payment options apply to CoServ Electric customers. A variety of options are available to suit different needs and preferences. For more information, consult your bills or log in to the CoServ online account service.

Pay Online: Powered by BillMatrix, CoServ offers an online bill payment and account management service for payment simplicity. The payment gateway is available at the CoServ website (follow the link provided). This service supports electronic checks, debit cards and credit cards. There is a $3.95 fee per transaction. In addition to payments, this service allows you to manage your bills, monitor your consumption and update your personal information. Pay Automatically: An easy way to keep on top of your CoServ Electric payments is by automatic bank draft. You can set up a bank draft with the online form available at the CoServ website.

Pay by Mail: The CoServ Electric bill payment address is: CoServ, P.O. Box 650785, Dallas, TX 75265-0785. Make sure you leave enough time for your payment to arrive and clear. Please include your CoServ Electric account number on your check. Your account number is located on your statement. Opening & Closing Accounts

If you are moving inside the DME service area and wish to begin a new service, or if you are moving within the same service area and wish to notify DME of a new service request, you can do so by completing and submitting the Move In form available online. Conversely you can visit the DME Customer Service center located at 601 E Hickory, Denton, Texas. You can also make an online request for your service to be disconnected.

Deposits: Before your new DME service is connected, you may be required to provide a deposit. You do not have to pay a deposit if you can prove a record of good credit for the last 12 months, and pass a background credit check. Deposits are a maximum of one sixth of the service locations previous 12 months of billing.

Rates: Denton Municipal Electric is completely open about its electricity rates, as well as its water rates, drainage rates, wastewater rates and solid waste rates. A full disclosure of the rates is available at the DME website.
